We have so many things now that take batteries and we are familiar with the need for fresh batteries on occasion. We also now have so many things that are much more able when connected to the internet and spend time tapping in passwords and searching for coverage to achieve connectivity to the world wide web.
We are also familiar with the hollow hole we are left with instead of the happiness we thought we would get after gaining money, cars, houses, and popularity. But we are not so sure how to get to that happiness and loose the hollow hole.

I am now on the board of White Horse Addiction Center Inc. and we were at a community forum on addiction last week in Wolfeboro. Eric Moran, the manager at White Horse, shared a bit from the audience that struck me. He said that from talks with those addicted, one of the consistent themes he has heard is that the attraction of drugs is like that it feels like a “warm hug.” Again, people are finding the wrong way to fill the aching hollow hole they feel.
