I love you and so does God our Father, Jesus, The Christ, our Brother, and Holy Spirit, our Breath.
Rain set in yesterday morning. It was light in the morning and by the time we got to 10:30 Mass, it was starting to come down pretty steady and hard. After Mass talked to a friend who was happy for their well which had gone dry this Summer.
So no looking at all the stars, all the dots, from our deck this morning. I was thinking over the last couple of days how the stars look so close together but are in fact so very far apart. From our gazillion mile away perspective they are touching in a swath of milky way. The distance between stars though is really quite a lot.
Lots of dots those stars are and those milky ways are made up of. We are on the “dot” of the earth here and are a dot on the earth. Lots of dots on our dot. Of course even our towns or cities are dots on our dots.
I get the image of God grinning at our dot and all us dots on our dot shimmering around as God looks on Cherishing, Caring, Wanting, and Loving us dearly. God’s Happy for the things we are doing well and according to His Will while Sad and Hopeful for the areas we are not getting lined up with God’s Will.
Us dots seem separate and disconnected, but from God’s perspective looking at the dot we live on, we are very close. to each other.
Lots of effort goes in from the other side to have us be separate from, isolated from, and fearful of other people, other dots. No need to be afraid of us dots even when there are lots. Strike up a conversation and shimmer and discover and grow.
Lots and lots of talk and chatter about how isolated we are and so unable to talk with each other especially about politics and religion.
Confidence and Radiance of Christ is Awesome Antidote to help us with kindness reaching out
2 Corinthians 4:6 …. radiate the light of the knowledge of God’s Glory, the Glory on the Face of Christ.
So let’s all help connect us dots and do the dot hop and so help hope.
