I’ve always loved the 1966 Jerusalem Bible’s version of this verse with the British co-operate. It so much brings to mind the image of a really good teammate, copilot, co yoke, yoked with the good bloke that is not seen but real and present. Our role is to be ever opening to hearing His Guidance, Will, Joy, and Love so we can Hearten Him (Proverbs 27:11) , flourish fully in our daily flourishing, better host Him, be better guided by Him, and better loved by Him.
I love you and so does Jesus, God, and Holy Spirit along with all the Holy Angels and all the Holy Saints.
