Romans 8:28 in the Jerusalem Bible 1966 edition was really cool because with the British English cooperate is co-operate as God works everything to it’s good for those who love Him. The co-operate and the image Jesus refers to of the yoke and our yoking with him and the burden being light because he is carrying most of the load and leading us if we will yield and follow and listen and be loved and assist and help and love. When we yield, our yield, our bounteous flourishing fruitful bounty, is beyond what we could ask or imagine.
Matthew 11: 28-30 ‘Come to me, all you who labour and are overburdened, and I will give you rest. Shoulder my yoke and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Yes, my yoke is easy and my burden light.’
Ephesians 3:20 Glory be to him whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we can ask or imagine;
