Christ & I Love You.
This quote on Perfect Love jumped out at me the other night. I had just finished reading a book about Saint Augustine’s life and the great positive devotion his mother, Saint Monica, had on his life. The next book I picked up was about prayer’s through the ages and it had quite a few from Saint Augustine.
A picture that I have had for years is that the most beautiful beauty of each and every person is not their shape or form of trimmings or trappings. I find the beauty of each person is the phenomenally amazing creation of the Creator that they are with all of the systems whirring with lungs breathing and heart pumping and elbows bending and their soul and inner Light of Christ within.
Saint Augustine is recognizing that the Love Affair of Jesus for us and us for Jesus is The Perfect Love. This Perfect Love is also Permanent, while the temporal world is temporary and passing away.
I Love you and so does Jesus, God, and Holy Spirit along with Mother Mary, Saint Joseph, Saint Raphael, Saint Joan, Your Guardian Angel, all the Holy Angels, and all the Holy Saints.
