During some fun banter with the Physician’s Assistant I declared that the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Cafeteria has provided the answer to one of life’s questions. When one goes along assembling a salad at the salad bar, the grilled chicken always is before the hard boiled eggs. So we now know that the chicken comes before the egg.
Being at the hospital here with my wife entering the 3rd week has been a blessing with the great care during a dangerous situation. The exact cause and diagnosis remains a bit unclear. I think that the point of the Garden of Eden portion of The Bible is to share with us that we cannot know anything except for the Love Affair that God has with all people, each person. The rest is all a mystery. It remains difficult for my wife to not know the cause and diagnosis definitively.
So the Physician’s Assistant went on to say that now that I’ve answered the big question of which came first, the chicken or the egg, maybe I would provide the meeting of life next.
What came to me with this prod is to help our Creator with the ongoing Creation of Creation.
