I love you and so does Jesus our Brother, God our Father, and The Holy Spirit our Breath.
By the Grace of God, my wife is recovering from a serious lung infection and we are now home. These last 13 months have been quite a journey health wise with trips to Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, and Ohio from our home in New Hampshire to see specialists of various stripes. We have been away from home for 16 weeks for medical trips in this period. Landing back home just now and each time has been awesome.
I have been thinking of how our home really is Jesus Christ and how we make ourselves a home for Jesus Christ. This came to mind during the uncertainty of our time away. There have been so many challenges, so much change, so much emotion.
We are called both to make our home in Christ and keep the bodies of our home clean enough to host Christ living in us.
John 15:4-12
Make your home in me, as I make mine in you.
As a branch cannot bear fruit all by itself,
but must remain part of the vine,
neither can you unless you remain in me.
I am the vine,
you are the branches.
Whoever remains in me, with me in him,
bears fruit in plenty;
for cut off from me you can do nothing.
Anyone who does not remain in me
is like a branch that has been thrown away
-he withers;
these branches are collected and thrown on the fire,
and they are burned.
If you remain in me
and my words remain in you,
you may ask what you will and you shall get it.
It is to the glory of my Father that you should bear much fruit,
and then you will be my disciples.
As the Father has loved me,
so I have loved you.
Remain in my love.
If you keep my commandments
you will remain in my love,
just as I have kept my Father’s commandments
and remain in his love.
I have told you this
so that my own joy may be in you
and your joy be complete.
This is my commandment: love one another,
as I have loved you.
Computers are so much more capable online and we are so much more capable OnVine with Christ. 😉
I love you and so does Jesus, God, and Holy Spirit along with Mother Mary, Saint Joseph, Saint Peter, Saint Anne, Saint John, Saint Theresa, your Guardian Angel, all the Holy Angels and all the Holy Saints.
