Peter is clear in sharing that it was his power or person. It because he did this in the name of Jesus Christ. In the footnotes of the 1966 Jerusalem Bible, it says that the ancients believed that if one says the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ is stirred to action. Might as well believe that too and hear, help, and heal as we have been asked to. Helped Heal?
