2 Corinthians 13:5:   Examine yourselves to make sure you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you acknowledge that Jesus Christ is really in you?…

When we invite people over to our house, we try to keep the place clean. When we host the Sovereign of all Sovereigns, and realize it, we want to clean up our house which is our bodies and souls to be in align with God’s Guidance laid out in The Word of God and Church Teachings so we are good hosts. And with the Light of Light and Wonder Counselor within us Christ flourishes us and those around us.

John 15:4-7 “Make your home in me, as I make mine in you. As a branch cannot bear fruit all by itself, but must remain part of the vine, neither can you unless you remain in me.
I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me, with me in him, bears fruit in plenty; for cut off from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is like a branch that has been thrown away – he withers; these branches are collected and thrown on the fire, and they are burnt. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask what you will and you shall get it.”

1 John 4:4 Children, you have already overcome these false prophets, because you are from God and you have in you one who is greater than anyone in this world.

Psalm 119:129-130:  Your decrees are so wonderful my soul cannot but respect them.  As your word unfolds, it gives light, and the simple understand.

John 8:3-12  The scribes and Pharisees brought a woman along who had been caught committing adultery; and making her stand there in full view of everybody,  they said to Jesus, ‘Master, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery, and Moses has ordered us in the Law to condemn women like this to death by stoning. What have you to say?’ They asked him this as a test, looking for something to use against him. But Jesus bent down and started writing on the ground with his finger.  As they persisted with their question, he looked up and said, ‘If there is one of you who has not sinned, let him be the first to throw a stone at her’. Then be bent down and wrote on the ground again.  When they heard this they went away one by one, beginning with the eldest, until Jesus was left alone with the woman, who remained standing there.  He looked up and said, ‘Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?’  No one, sir’ she replied. ‘Neither do I condemn you,’ said Jesus ‘go away, and don’t sin any more.’  When Jesus spoke to the people again, he said: ‘I am the light of the world; anyone who follows me will not be walking in the dark; he will have the light of life’.
